QC Solar (SZ301278) announced that its innovatively developed marine waterproof junction box has officially passed three global authoritative certifications: TÜV Rheinland certification, TÜV SÜD certification and UL certification. It has become one of the first junction box products in the industry that meet both the 2000V high-voltage standard and the requirements of extreme marine environments.

Addressing the long-standing pain points of offshore photovoltaic power stations such as "high salt spray, strong corrosion, and tidal impact", QC Solar (SZ301278) marine waterproof junction box has achieved a full-dimensional upgrade from materials to structure:

1.Innovation in the waterproof design of the upper cover:

The gap fit of the upper cover of traditional waterproof junction boxes is prone to seawater accumulation, increasing the risk of seal failure. QC Solar's marine junction box adopts an innovative M-type sealing ring upper cover, which effectively blocks seawater, keeps the interior dry, and provides excellent waterproof protection;

2.Double-layer waterproof structure:

The internal structure is designed with an S-type potting colloid water-blocking barrier technology, cleverly combined with a hollowed-out bottom design, achieving dual-effect protection of "diversion and blocking" for water vapor in tidal environments. Externally, cables are connected via a waterproof rear cover, paired with an M-type integrally molded sealed top cover, forming a double waterproof barrier. In addition, the external cables are fixed using a combination of nuts, claws, and plugs, which not only ensures fixing strength but also enhances waterproof performance. This provides solid protection for the stable operation of offshore photovoltaic systems.
