Compared with traditional junction boxes, high-current photovoltaic junction boxes have higher current carrying capacity and better hot spot protection functions.

First, what is a high-current photovoltaic junction box?

At present, the scheme of upgrading the bypass diode current in the traditional junction box is limited by the junction box structure design, diode packaging standards, and technical requirements, and it is difficult to meet the 210 cell-size panel whose current is upgraded to 30A. The "class module middle-position diode design" 3Q-M junction box of QC SOLAR uses the commonly used and mature R6-packaged diodes in the market. Under the premise of maintaining the same shape, it obtains different rated currents by changing the internal chip size structure design, and the over-current range can be met from20A,25A,30A. More importantly, this design innovatively sets the installation position of the diode in the middle of the two panels return current belt threading holes, and the principle is similar to the "modular diode". When the junction box starts to work, the high-temperature heat of the diode can be evenly dissipated to every corner of the junction box and finally brought out of the junction box.
